The simple yet evocative mixed media line drawing entitled “Holding Their Future” by Armenian artist Yuroz offers an intimate portrait of a shared moment.
Arthur Silverman’s “Steel Column no. 2” is a beautiful example of the artist’s sculptural style. His acute sense of how objects interact with space is on full display in this work. Now in his 90’s, Silverman no longer produces sculpture so this work, from his original paper maquettes, is to be coveted.
Alexandra Nechita’s lithograph, “Sharing Moments,” is from her first collection, “Friends and Fairy Tales” This work is an excellent example of her very early style and belongs in every Nechita collection.
Roy Lichtenstein’s offset print entitled “Two Nudes” is an illustration of what is considered to be his final great series of works. The original works were published as colored relief prints. The Nude series explores the themes of “love” and “girls” in comic books.
Renoux’s oil painting, “Mr. B’s Bistro, New Orleans” depicts a moody interior in the painter’s signature urban realism style.
